My Brand of Bliss

Bliss Through The Eyes of Faith
Do you ever find yourself getting annoyed over the silliest irritations?  No? Well, aren't you the chosen one. (lol)  Sometimes I just can't help myself.  While I have gotten much better at managing my time, I am finding that when I get to a point of frustration with my work, I am simply doing too much. That's when I know to go find my brand of bliss.

It sounds so easy, because it is.  For Love or money, we will often overbook and overwhelm ourselves, full with hope and expectation of smooth success - especially when what we are doing is being done for Love.  Sometimes people we care about will push and push and push with THEIR agendas, and that's when we have to reinforce boundaries that say, "Uh, love ya, but back off."

It can become tiring to handle and manage so much with our work and kids and relationships - not to mention the Negative Noise around us.  For some of us, it can be tough not to let all those annoyances project upside somebody's head, but I'm here to tell you AND remind myself - that with every new level comes another new devil.  I've got my faith, so it doesn't matter.  You and I both have complete control over what we say and do in response to the things we hate, like slow moving computers, bad drivers or some random fusion of stupidty. Something's bound to happen. That's life.  And in what is sometimes an almost completely an internal war, we have to take a break, let go and plug into some real bliss - some joy of substance.  Is there some brand of bliss inked into your schedule today?  I bet there isn't.

Since times are tight for most of us, a preferred brand of bliss may not be available for you at the moment, but there are other ways to achieve a state of mind that frees you from the thought-filled frustrations that come with trying to get somewhere, finish something or achieve any goal or dream.  Today as I write, mine is music, music, music. This indulgence changes everything, and I can start all over again on a chapter if I have to.  A warrior's gotta do, what a warrior's got to DO.  Part of that is having faith in yourself, the blessing and the ability you've been given.

Make it a habit to turn on the soft light of faith during your journey.  Check out the song in this post entitled "Despertar" by Aisha Duo.  Close your eyes and listen to the mystery and the flow of the melody.  Feel the cello pulling at its strings and let the confident beauty of the melody flow through you. Beauty is a force, and some alternative music speaks to my soul.  This energy is my bliss.
Take a listen...calm your soul...assert your intention.
